For Attendees
Information for those registering, attending, or following up on YDN programs, trainings, and events.

1
Registration & Participation

How do I register? Registration for YDN programs and events is done through our online registration forms. Each event will have a dedicated registration link on our website. Once you complete the form, you'll receive an automatic confirmation email.
What are the requirements to attend? Most of our programs are open to young adults who are committed to learning, leadership, and community change. Some events may have specific requirements (such as attending all sessions in a training series), which will be clearly stated on the registration form.

What if I don't receive confirmation? If you do not get a confirmation email within 48 hours, please check your spam folder. If it's still missing, contact our team at ydn.contact.network@gmail.com, and we'll help you right away.
3
Travel & Accommodation

Does YDN provide travel support? For some national or large-scale events, YDN may coordinate group travel or provide limited transportation support, depending on available funding. Details will be announced with each event.

Where should I stay for multi-day events? We work to recommend affordable and group-friendly lodging options for our conferences. While attendees are responsible for their own lodging, our team provides a list of trusted places to make planning easier.

Are meals included? For many events, meals are provided during sessions. Information about meals is included in your confirmation details. If meals are not included, we will suggest local, affordable options near the venue.
What about accessibility or special needs? We are committed to creating inclusive spaces. Please note any dietary, accessibility, or accommodation needs on your registration form so we can plan accordingly.
2
Program Information

What will the training include? Each YDN program is designed to build leadership, advocacy, and personal growth. Sessions may include workshops, guest speakers, skill-building exercises, and opportunities to network with other young leaders.

When and where do events happen? YDN hosts both online and in-person events. Exact dates, times, and locations are always shared on our Events page and in confirmation emails.

What do I need to prepare? Attendees should come ready to engage. For in-person programs, bring a notebook, pen, and any materials listed in your confirmation email. For online programs, make sure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet place to participate.

Do I receive recognition? Yes. YDN provides certificates of completion for major training programs and a graduation process for participants who complete all five required training conferences.
4
Getting Involved Beyond Events

Can I volunteer with YDN? Absolutely. Many of our team members started as attendees and later joined as volunteers. You can indicate your interest in volunteering on your registration form or email us directly at ydn.contact.network@gmail.com

Are there committees I can join? Yes. YDN runs several leadership committees (Event Coordinating, IT & Design, Finance, Advocacy & Policy, etc.) where young people gain real experience in organizational leadership. Attendees are welcome to apply to join after participating in programs.

How do I stay connected? After an event, you'll be added to our mailing list (unless you opt out). We'll keep you updated on upcoming trainings, opportunities, and ways to stay involved. You can also follow us on our social media channels and join community calls.

What happens after graduation? Graduates of YDN's five-conference training program are recognized as part of a network of young leaders. They may be invited to mentor new participants, lead workshops, or represent YDN in advocacy and community projects.
